"Civil Rights" Equals Slavery

If you want to drive the liberal moonbats crazy, just apply the term "civil rights" to a situation where only european-americans are involved. Liberal whack-jobs cannot tolerate having "their" sacred term used in connection with anyone except people "of color" (implying that european-americans have no color, and/or that skin color imbues some special virtuosity or superiority of victimhood.)

Cultural Marxism has misappropriated much of our language and culture, turning what were once meaningful words and phrases into code for left-wing ideology. Correcting these distortions requires tireless effort and vigilance, a challenge that often goes unanswered. By failing to object to the constant degradation of language, we surrender the battlefield of ideas.

The term 'Civil Rights' should never go unchallenged. Up to around thirty years ago, the term meant exactly what it said - the equal right of everyone to participate in public life, regardless of skin color. In the 1960's, government stepped in to push society to break down barriers and allow equal access where racial barriers were still in place. Later, sex , ethnicity and sexual preferences were added to the list of factors identifying groups presumed not to have these equal rights Laws were expanded to protect these groups as well, however, unlike the case with racism, without any evidence that any barriers existed for these groups. Once the civil rights gravy train got up a head of steam, everyone wanted to jump on board. Congress felt so guilty over stiffing blacks for so long that suddenly anyone who claimed to be a victim of white male heterosexual oppression got a ticket for a free ride.

Today, however, no one can argue that any group in America is denied the basic right to participate in every aspect of public life, except of course, Christians. Be that as it may, we continue to see the term 'civil rights' used as if we were still in the era of Jim Crow a hundred years ago. 'Civil rights' no longer has anything to do with equal access, but it has everything to do with expanding and protecting the privileged status of the groups claiming to be eternally oppressed by european american males.

"Civil Rights" is now cultural marxist code for preference programs, racial gerrymandering, quotas, racial and sex payoff programs, victim bureaucracy, set asides, special treatment. It signifies the eternal struggle to destroy the oppressor enemy - european american males, western culture, Christian religion, Constitutional republican government, and the freedom "the oppressor" has provided Americans to disagree with the Cultural Marxists, who so hate this freedom to challenge their lies that they work incessantly to enslave us all as a means to stifle any objection.

"Civil Rights" means slavery.

Good Riddance to Sandra Day O'Connor

Ann Coulter says it much better than I could hope to: "Reagan's Biggest Mistake Retires" . Thank God she is gone. Only a piano dropping on Kennedy or Ginsburg could have been better, but let's not quibble. Sandra Day O'Connor is gone, and now America can get to the task of repairing the damage.

If you need proof of O'Connor's mediocrity, just listen to the effusive praise being sprayed over everyone by Chuck Shumer and the liberal press, acting like rabid dogs pissing all over the neighborhood to mark their territory.

O'Connor's distinguishing characteristics were a monumental ego and a Clintonian narcissism that caused her to take any combination of positions that would result in her becoming the pivotal, ultra-important "swing vote". Her thing was getting the headlines, the attention, the fawning law review articles, the "legacy". Her other thing was impenetrable blathering that had nothing remotely to do with the law or the Constitution, and everything to do with her letting us all know how gosh-darn smart she is.

In exchange the Constitution was trashed. 14th Amendment? Who needs it. Certainly not european americans, and especially not male european americans. O'Connor's name will continue to inspire those who wish to destroy America's Constitutional foundation. The rest of us should try to forget her as quickly as possible.
