Terry Schiavo

"The right of the innocent to live isn’t contingent on the good will of governments and courts" M - Andrew C. McCarthy. The liberal courts of the State of Florida are enacting another outrage on America, another step toward liberal totalitarian control over every aspect of human life. Read McCarthy's expose of the Washington Post's disingenuous defense of the forced starvation of this innocent and helpless woman.

It's interesting that the liberals promoting Terri Schiavo's former husband's right to have her starved, are the same ones who allow a father no right to prevent a woman from murdering his child in the womb. In other words, the only rights that liberals would allow males would be to contribute to the murder of innocents, but not to prevent it.

The murder of Terri Schiavo will not be forgotten. Her death will serve as a constant reminder of our enslavement by activist judges. She will become a martyr to whom we can dedicate our unending efforts to throttle the power of the runaway renegade judiciary and its allies in the Culture of Death.

Social Security: "Private" Accounts Are a Bad Deal

So-called "private" Social Security retirement accounts are a bad deal - but not for the reasons that liberals oppose them. Let's look at what has happened where "private accounts" already exist - Calfornia's public retirement system, or "Calpers". Under the Calpers system, part of the money that should be paid to public employees is instead kept by the State and invested by the Calpers administrators in various financial institutions. These administrators treat the money like they own it - which they do, since they control it, spend it, and decide whether retirees ever get any of it. But the radical left-wing zealots on the Calpers board of directors put the fiduciary interests of public employees on the back burner. They use the billions of dollars taken from employees to wage economic warfare against the "evil corporate masters of Wall Street". Profits that could and should be made on these investments are thrown away in order to wage PC war on hated industries like tobacco and firearms.

What will happen if billions of dollars of Social Security money go this same route? Easy. First, a huge expansion of the Social Security Bureaucracy. The same people that give everyone wrong answers on their tax questions will now be in charge of losing "your" retirement money in flaky investment schemes. Second, liberal bureaucrats will write the rules - and immediately you will see billions invested in schemes to promote radical feminism, abortion, gay marriage, open borders, companies that support terrorists, legal shakedown operations to extort money from Wall Street, and endless economic warfare against the enemies of socialism - with no other goal than to destroy capitalism and private property. What better way to advance the cause of Marxism than to pour America's retirement wealth down a rathole?

We already have a model in California of the waste, fraud, and abuse that will result by giving liberal bureaucrats control over billions in retirement money. To make this mistake on a national level would be catastrophic.

If the government wants real "private accounts" they should simply let workers keep their own money and invest it however they choose.

Supreme Court Out of Control

This time it's Kennedy joining O'Connor on the lunatic fringe. Citing vague foreign influences, and with less than a quarter of the States in support, Kennedy somehow translates this into a mandate for shielding underage murderers from ultimate justice. The Court has completely lost its mind - popular election of all judges will allow us to remove the lunatics on the federal bench, starting with Kennedy, O'Connor, Ginsburg, Stevens, and Souter.
