The Ultimate Pyramid Scam

Fed. Chairman Greenspan has tipped his hand to let us all know that Social Security is the biggest pyramid scam ever invented. Greenspan wants to be judged well by history, and his supporters will now be able to claim that he warned Americans that the end of the game was near. When 77 million baby boomers start collecting benefits, it will be clear that generations of politicians had run up a huge pot, each out-bluffing the other with no cards and no money. They were betting with phony chips backed up by promises that their grandchildren would pay off. Now there's a knock on the door - it's Communist China, with an IOU signed by the same politicians - it turns out they now own most of the productive capacity that will be needed for the grandkids to pay off the debt.

Greenspan had already folded his hand and left before the Chinese arrived to make slaves of the Americans.

The Liberal Leftist Agenda

The destruction of marriage is just the latest battle in the Second American Civil War. Liberals intend to destroy our culture and our society, our Constitution, our borders and language, and replace them with a dictatorship of the liberal elites, an anarchic, polyglot chaos of competing identity groups, an unending class war against anyone and anything productive, with a valueless, relativistic, hedonistic nihilism. The goal of feminism is the destruction of the white race. The goal of liberalism is the destruction of Western European civilization. The goal of the gays is the destruction of the family.

Weak-kneed republicans will continue to try to appease this beast, but they will be devoured.

The Wrong Amendment

The Supreme Court of Massachusetts may have ignited a fuse that will explode in the faces of those who promote accelerated cultural degeneracy. So-called "homosexual marriage" is making a lot of people gag. It's another affront to traditional family values from the gay agenda folks - who seem hell-bent on poking sticks in everyone's eyes. "We're here, we're queer, get over it." Liberals have been falling over themselves promoting the gay agenda. Now they may have overstepped.

But the people who are screaming for a Constitutional Amendment to codify marriage as an exclusively heterosexual institution are missing the larger point - and an opportunity to create a force for lasting and revolutionary change in American society that could begin the process of healing the cultural rot that began in the 1960's.

Think about all of the things that have eroded our culture, our laws, and our society. Make up your own list. And then think about how many of these slippery slopes of cultural destruction started with an activist judge pronouncing from on high that we mere mortals must bow to their superior intellect and must accept a new way that contradicts every decent & common sense notion of how society should operate.

Forced busing. Public housing. Welfare. Affirmative action. Expansive non constitutional "rights". Feminism. Liberalized divorce. And of course, the mother of all corrosive social poisons - abortion on demand of the female.

Liberal activist judges cannot be assigned exclusive blame for unleashing these destructive forces - but they deserve to face serious consequences because they have no public unaccountability. Assumptions that held for 150 years that the judicial elite would not create social chaos have proven false.

The outrage generated by the Massachusetts court should be channelled to a more important goal - public accountability for the judicial elites. There should be Constitutional Amendments - at the state and federal levels - but the subject should not be homosexual marriage - the amendments should make all judicial positions elected by a vote of the people. With term limits. No more appointed elites!
